Lanzarote, the Canary Islands

One of the greatest attractions of a holiday to Lanzarote is probably in the guarantee of having good weather whenever you choose to visit, as is the case with many of the Canary isles.

The fourth largest of all the Canary Isles, at 846km squared, the island has a population of just over 130,000 people. Being located only 125km off the coast of Africa, it’s easy to understand why so many tourists flock to the islands each year from the likes of England and Germany when the average temperature is 22 degrees.
