Restaurant Review: Chicago's
Chicago’s 'where day meets night' is located on the seafront at Los Cristianos, providing a full menu from breakfasts to evening meals, live sports action on their 1.4m big screen, and all the islands top cabaret at night. It is open from 9.30 am until late.
![]() We visited Chicago’s on Thursday lunchtime for some tender baby back ribs, accompanied with Chicago BBQ sauce, which came highly recommended by someone next to us at the hotel pool. We devoured them ferociously whilst the kids played in the nearby play area within full view of ourselves. We returned around 7.30pm and realised the live entertainment had already started with compere Paul James playing tunes which were gentle to the ear, while we enjoyed our evening meal. I had Bull Steak which was 8 oz of prime fillet steak char grilled to our taste, accompanied with onion rings, tomato & garnish, the wife had BBQ Fillet an amazing 8 oz fillet coated in a wonderful BBQ sauce, and the kids enjoyed Spaghetti Bolognese and chicken nuggets served with chips and beans from the children’s menu, all washed down with plenty of liquid. Everything was cooked to perfection, with great portions and all for less than £25. By 9pm the cabaret had got into full swing, with 3 live acts right up to midnight. We were entertained first of all by Dee Daniels, a bubbly Irish lass who got everyone into the swing of things, followed by the talented Rachel who did a great send up of Cher, and finally Glen Baker who rounded the night off with some fine blues music. All in all a great night from start to finish, with us being waited on hand and foot by the pleasant and polite waitresses and bar staff who never stopped all night, and who never kept anybody waiting even though the bar was packed. Unfortunately this was our last night on holiday, but it could not have been a better venue to round off a great holiday, and we know for sure that on our next visit to Tenerife, Chicago’s will be our first port of call.
