Following on from the brilliant Cream and Miss Moneypennys nights at Nooctua, Odyssey promised us even more.

Phats & Small were here for a four hour set, accompanied by Robin F, Paul Simpson and DJ Christian.

Your favourite club reviewers (that means us) were on duty again. Yes, that means we still get in free (thanks again Chris!)

As with the earlier nights in he Odyssey/It at Nooctua, we couldn't help thinking that it was going to be a great night as soon as we arrived.


Within five minutes we were inside and at the bar and there we stood, taking in the incredible atmosphere in the main room where the dancers were warming up the club while the most original sounds we had heard for a while filling the club. The mixes were spot on and he was building his set up beautifully, getting us all ready for what was to come.

No doubt that it was Phats & Small who were the main attraction, and they really put on a show, although we were pleasently surprised at the reception the crowd gave to the other DJs.

The crowd were all on the floor moving to the unique sounds provided by Phats and Small. Popular opinion by some of the regulars down there was that this was the best night so far.


On the whole, we're going to say it was the best night so far. And that wasn't because a litre of Baileys was consumed before hand. But if there should be anyone with a case of memory loss, we've put up a photo gallery for you.


Next up is Cream, followed by Miss Moneypenny's and then the debuts from Ministry and Gatecrasher. Watch out for those cyberkids and glow sticks!
