What a night! Moneypenny's End of Season party was the dogs danglies! Out of the 13 events held at Nooctua Studious this was the best. This venue has played host to some of the most original and spectacular nights in the summer 2000 clubbing history and last night saw funky house signing off for the summer in style.

A glamorous crowd was full of funky party people who were up for a good time. And a good time was what they received. The Nooctua dancers were full on and wearing even less than normal. Beware lads - those 'cheeky' barely covered hypnotising arses are not for pinching! And no, it wasn't me who tried!

My favourite DJ of the night was definitely the one and only Robbie Hannah who was playing some funky beats and uplifting rhythms. The crowd was moving, the music is so infectious that standing still is not an option. Even I was jigging around. On my own. And sober! (Previous readers will know I have a taste for the evil booze).


The Moneypenny's recipe for success is simple: beautiful night, beautiful people. This combined with the excellent promotions laid on by Odyssey / IT guaranteed a great night. But why does the season have to end? I want more. More! MORE!

This was definitely my favourite night, lets hope that Moneypenny’s return for summer 2001. Now we have only two nights remaining Cream and Gatecrasher. I highly recommend you go to at least one.
