Excursions in Fuerteventura: Ecomuseum La Alcogida

This ecomuseum consist of a settlement of seven dwelings, which are representative of the traditional architecture in Fuerteventura. This dwelings have been restored keeping the traditional architectural shapes and materials. This ecomuseum recreats the traditional country life by by doing craft, cattle and farming activities in situ. It's also provided with two ethnographic dwelings shere you can see typical elements used by peasants in their daily life.
There is also a canteen in the museum, where you can enjoy the traditional gastronomy.
