Beaches in Lanzarote: Famara Beach Guide

On the Northern side of the island, Famara is a windswept surfers paradise. 6000 metres of wild and windy, yet beautiful, beach. Large breakers crash into the beach, and roll up the fine white sand towards the beach road.

Behind the road lies a large area of sand dunes, with a dramatic backdrop of the mountains.

The village nearby has a few restaurants and cafe bars where you can enjoy a quiet drink - every day feels like a Sunday.
