Global Positioning System in all Buggies at the Arabella golf courses Son Vida, Son Muntaner and Son Quint

Mallorca, June 2008 - Players can now take profit from a perfect information source when renting a buggy at the Arabella Golf & Spa Resort Mallorca. The Inforemer-HDX system from GPS Industries has recently been fitted to all buggies at the three Arabella golf courses Son Vida, Son Muntaner and Son Quint. The GPS system gives you the exact distance from the buggy to the hole and also shows a complete plan of the course. Full motion 3D flyovers give the player all information necessary on arrival at each tee.

The player has a choice of 5 languages � English, German, Spanish, French and Swedish. The system gives an exact position of the buggy, shows the distance to the hole, the pin position and can calculate the last shot played as well as a complete course plan. A virtual 3D tour with comments of each hole greets the player on arrival to each tee. Elecronic scorecards make scoring easier and the flightpath of the ball can be exactly traced. Another highlight is the Pro tip based on local knowledge provided by the home professional. All the information on the system is continually updated and everything is displayed on large easy reading monitors.
